The spirit of our company is Extreme Customer Service. It is our goal to recruit, hire, nurture and train our people with this spirit in mind. Delivering our promise to our partners requires a unique culture, rooted in the desire of every employee to partner with our customers, serve, and continuously improve. American Audio Visual Center will always commit itself to this endeavor through employee training. Our employee training begins immediately and continues throughout one’s career with AAVC. Our one-on-one involvement in early and continued training and career development is the key ingredient in the preservation and success of this culture.
The American Academy is the foundational training in which an employee becomes acquainted with our company, its history, culture, as well their role and career path within our team. It is the initial orientation training each employee must complete in order to insure that our spirit is genuine, true and consistent at every location. New employees also participate in Hotel/Resort sponsored orientation and customer service training programs, in order to understand and reflect the unique brand, culture and guidelines at each partner property.
Our Corporate Training Department and our National Training Committee have developed our employee training and certification programs in all aspects of audio-visual technology and industry standards. This curriculum is developed in conjunction with ICIA (The International Communications Industries Association), InfoComm International Audiovisual (AV) Certification, and ETCP (Entertainment Technician Certification Program). Utilizing hands-on training, as well as online training modules, our company offers training and certification in disciplines ranging from the Basic Essentials of Audiovisual series to advanced specialties such as Project Management, Advanced Sales, Rigging Certification, Power and Electrical, and Networking.
Through the development our state-of-the-art internal systems and training programs, AAVC stands on the leading edge to partner and provide Extreme Customer Service in any aspect of Audiovisual staging production.
